A service that allows the user to file a patent application.

1. Step 2
- Login to the SAIP website, select Services, and click on Patent Service.
2. Step 3
- Login to the Patent Portal.
3. Step 4
- Create an account for Individuals, Organizations or Agents.- If the applicant is (an individual) - a new user - the registration is made via the National Access or through creating a new account at the registration portal in the SAIP Services.- If the applicant is (an agent/company) - a new user - the registration is made through creating a new account at the registration portal in the SAIP Services.
4. Step 5
- Login to the Service Platform through the One National Access/e-mail.- If the applicant (individual) has an existing account, login is made via the One National Access or e-mail.- If the applicant (agent/company) has an existing account, login is made via e-mail.
5. Step 6
- Choose to file a new application.
6. Step 7
- Download patent application templates (summary, full description, protection elements, drawings if any).
7. Step 8
- Select the type of application (patent).
8. Step 9
- Fill in the application data.
9. Step 10
- Attach the templates in their designated places.
10. Step 11
- An application invoice is issued. If paid, the application number and date of filing are issued.
