Request to Change the Ownership of a Plant Variety

A service that allows the patent applicant to transfer / change the ownership of the application from the current owner to the new owner.

1.
- 1- Open the authority’s website > select “Services” > click on the “Plant Varieties” service.

- 2- Login to the patent portal.
3.
- 3- Transition to a platform through team play / email.
4.
- 4- Choose the "Change Ownership" icon.
5.
- 5- Choose the application whose ownership is to be changed.
6.
- 6- Fill out the data and attach the legal documents.
7.
- 7- Send the request.
8.
- 8- If the transfer / change request is approved, an electronic invoice, the financial consideration.
9.
- 9- Payment of the financial consideration.
